Once you have been selected the Buggy Festival of Church Point Festival Queen, you will be under the supervision of the Pageant Director. The title you hold carries with it a responsibility to carry out your duties accordingly. Please read the following rules, set fort by the Buggy Festival Committee, carefully and be sure that you understand each one and its implications.

1. The Buggy Festival Queen is expected to act in a lady-like manner at all times. Use of profanity, drunkenness, rudeness, or any conduct unbecoming to a Queen while you are representing the Buggy Festival and are recognized as such, will be on grounds for immediate dismissal. The title will be revoked immediately and revert back to the Buggy Festival.

2. Marriage or pregnancy during Reign will result in immediate dismissal.

3. The Queen is required to participate in the Fairs and Festivals Association Queen of Queen's Pageant usually held in February. The Festival will be responsible for the room, entry fee and registration of the Queen only.

4. The Queen is not allowed to enter any other contests other than the Laff pageant and is allowed no other festival or organization as their Queen.

5. The Buggy Festival Queen must attend no less than 10 Festival during her reign. All surrounding area festivals must be attended. Contact the pageant director if conflict arises.

6. You are expected to dress appropriately at all times while you are attending to your duties as Buggy Festival Queen. We expect you to look and act your best at all times.

7. Should the Buggy Festival Queen find it impossible to fulfill her duties accordingly and resign the title. All privileges will revert back to the festival.

8. The crown and cape will be passed down from Queen to Queen each new reign. The Queen is expected to care for and be responsible for the crown and cape.

9. If at anytime the Queen cannot or will not abide and/or comply with above rules as set and state by the Buggy Festival. We reserve the right to replace her at our own discretion. At this time should this become necessary (or should the Queen resign relinquish her crown and privileges) the Buggy Festival Queen will revert back to the foundation. All properties must be turned over upon demand to the Festival, in the condition in which the Queen received them.

10. Should it be necessary to replace the Queen, the title, properties and privileges will not be offered to the 1st, 2nd,and 3rd Runner-ups respectively provided that the above rules and regulations are met.

I have read the rules and regulations as set and stated by the Buggy Festival. I understand each rule and its implications. Upon accepting the title of the Buggy Festival Queen. I here by accept the  responsibilities as stated and will abide by all the rules. I further understand that my failure to comply with these rules may result in my dismissal at which time, I agree to return said properties in good condition upon demand to the Buggy Festival.
